Obituary for Mario M. Signorile

Mario M. Signorile, 97, of Holiday City South, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 peacefully at home with his loving wife at his side.
Born in Bronx, NY, Mario was a longtime resident of Ramsey, NJ. He later moved to FL, before relocating to Berkeley Twp. in 2015.
He served in the United States Army during WWII.
Mario worked at Ford Motor Co. in Edgewater, NJ and Mahwah, NJ for 38 years in the capacity of a Union Official and finished his career in the Quality Control Dept.
He was a Life Member of the Elks Lodge 1941, Mahwah, NJ, where he served in several officer positions and was active with Camp Moore.
Mario was also a member of the Italian American Club in Margate, FL, the American Legion Post 129 in Toms River and was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary, his son and daughter in law Michael and Debbie Signorile of Berkeley Twp., NJ, his daughter and son in law Jeannie and Fred Benson of Myrtle Beach, SC, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday 4-8 pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday 11:30 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. Burial to follow at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VETWORK, 103 N. Main St., Forked River, NJ 08731 or at www.vetwork.org.
