Obituary for Melissa "Missy" S. Kistner

Melissa “Missy” Kistner, 48, of Forked River, NJ died on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at her home. Missy was born in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Bayville, NJ before moving to Forked River, NJ in 2007. She was a graduate of Kean University with a BS in Administrative Business. Missy worked for Kova Corp. in Manahawkin, NJ as a Bookkeeper and Accountant. She was active with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program and was a parishioner of both St. Pius RC Church in Forked River, NJ and St. Mary RC Church in Elizabeth, NJ.
Missy is predeceased by her parents Andrew and Annmay Bara.
Surviving is her husband Matthew L. Kistner of Forked River, NJ; her children Matthew J. Kistner of Lakehurst, NJ and Madison Rae Kistner of Forked River, NJ; her brother Andrew Bara of Bayville, NJ.
Family will receive friends on Sunday January 14, 2018 from 4-7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O’Connell Chapel 706 Rt. 9 Bayville, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday January 15, 2018 at 11am at St. Pius RC Church in Forked River, NJ. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to be made to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Ocean County at http://www.bbbsoc.org. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
