Obituary for Vincent Cosenzo Jr.

Vincent Cosenzo Jr. 84 of the Silver Ridge Park North section of Berkeley Township, NJ died on Monday April 23, 2018. Born in Newark, NJ he was a long time resident of Belleville, NJ before moving to the Toms River area in 2009. He was a US Army Veteran of Korea and attended William Paterson University before becoming a Police Officer in Belleville. Vincent was an active fund raiser for the Special Olympics and for the Police Vest Fund in Belleville. Predeceased by his loving wife Annamarie (Cicalese), parents Vincent Sr and Jean. Surviving are two sons Mark and his wife Patricia Cosenzo of Toms River, Stephen and his wife Sandra Cosenzo of East Hanover, NJ. One brother Carmine and his wife Barbara. One sister Marie Zingerelli. 5 grandchildren; Tara Cosenzo-Margulski and her husband Douglas, Vincent, Alexandra, Christina and Olivia Cosenzo. 2 great grandchildren Giuliana and Marcella Margulski. Nephews; Vincent Zingerelli, Tony and Billy Hicks, Carlo, Matt, Chris, Angelo Cordasco. Sanford, Vincent and Anthony Cosenzo. Nieces; Maryanne Giannetti, Michelle Foti, Kimberly Cuozzo, Leslie Radice and Ruthanne Cordasco. Cousins; Garrett, Donna and David O’Connor and Ronald and Amy Cappetta. His girl Sandy. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday April 26, 2018 from 4 to 8pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Service will be on Friday 10am at the Funeral Home with Burial to follow at St Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River, NJ. Condolences may be sent to www.ryanfuneralhome.com
